In studio family session| Rochester, NY
It was a cold February morning when we met at the studio for the Blonsky’s family session! Before Jim and I moved to CT I was a part time babysitter, for my second cousin Paige. Paige is such a sweetheart! We used to have so much fun playing together every Tuesday and Thursday, I started babysitting her when she was 11 months old, and had her until she was 2.5 years old. I was super excited when Christine and David asked me to do a family session with them. I’ve really missed chatting with them, so this was a great opportunity to catch up and capture some updated portraits of their beautiful little family!
Paige has absolutely gorgeous blue eyes. Have I mentioned that little kids with big eyes are my favorite to photograph? Eyes are the windows to the soul, and little kid smiles light up their eyes. Paige is no exception to that!
My cousin, David, is not a fan of being in front of the camera, but he rocked their family pictures. I’m sure it helps when your girls are as beautiful as these two are. =)
They are adorable. I am so lucky to know them as well as I do! They are amazing parents and Paige is so blessed to have such wonderful, attentive parents. Christine is a music teacher at Hilton High school, and David is an assistant manager at Guitar Center. They are a very musical family, and Paige is definitely catching on! She sings and dances all the time.
Often times, when doing sessions with 2-5 year old, I promise them if they do the “nice” pictures first, then we will get some goofy shots later. Its rare for parents to actually purchase these photos, but its fun none-the-less to capture the true essence of a 3 year old! It helps them remain focused with the promise of some fun as soon as they do what they’re supposed to!
